She was predeceased by: her husband Eduard; her parents, Julius Knodel and Elsie Knodel; and her sister Ingrid Borau. She is survived by: her children, Gordon Braun (Cindy), Martin Braun (Cheryl), David Braun (Gail), Edwin Braun (Debbie), Robert Braun (Maureen), Erica Murray (Jim) and Doris Van Andel (John). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Edith's name to the Cross Cancer Institute.
