He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Radke; and his parent Tom Lauer. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Holly Lauer (Fred) of St. Albert, Stacey Lauer (Marie) of Airdrie and Michelle Callahan (Bill) of Florida; his grandchildren, Amy Bremner (Andy), Deanna Wachowicz, Alison Lauer, Erika Lauer, Liam Callahan and Jack Callahan; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Celeste Bremner; his sister Joy Groom (Ernie) of Red Deer; his brother-in-law Wayne Radke of Red Deer; and his brother Mike Lauer of Ponoka.
In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, Alzheimer Society of Canada, or to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
