He was predeceased by: his parents, Pieter and Nel; and his son Jonathan. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Daniel (Jannine), Peter (Yvonne), James (Nadja), Paul (Larissa) and Susie (Rhooby); and his sister Marina (Spike). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
