He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Brertton; his son Avery; his grandparents, Raymond A. Giant and Maryann Littlechild; his uncle Larry Brertton; and his cousin Morgan Jackson.

He is survived by: his father Harvey Littlechild; his siblings, Terry Littlechild (Noreen), Iyan Brertton and Marley Stone; his niece Cammi Brertton; his nephew Noah Stone "Boss Baby" (Angie Brertton); and his aunts and uncles, Gary Giant, Darrell Brertton (Leigh-Ann), Valerie Courchene (Howard), Donna Giant, Shannon Brertton and Julie Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunties, uncles.

A wake was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Onchaminahos School. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
