It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Duane Richard Pyear (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doug and Shirley; his brothers, Barry and Les; and his wife Ann.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and NWT, who were instrumental in getting us through dealing with this tragic disease.

“Dear Ann I was saddened to hear about Duane's passing. I have so many fond memories of "Maynard" from our high school days hanging out at the family farm, swimming in the Trent river and of course being room mates through university in Ottawa. He had many great qualities....smart, played hard but worked harder in school, his summer jobs and his profession when you headed West. Duane was also a good athlete, the star of Sunday afternoon touch football and of course "surfing" to the Beach Boys!!!”
