He was predeceased by: his wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Terry (Sharron), Judy (Kim) and Ray; his grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason), Jeffery (Stephanie), Christopher (Raelyn) and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Ava, Ella and Reece; and his friend Liz Boyko.

Donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
