He is survived by: his brother Doug McDonald (Vivian) of Toronto; his close friend Barbara Born; his children, James McDonald (Nancy), David McDonald (Gina), Muriel Mary Redden (Raymond) and Ann Edward McDonald (Detlev); and his stepchildren, Kevin Moore (Nettie) of Halifax, Anita Aubin (Robert) of Edmonton and Hector Born (Jeanne) of Michigan. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a niece and a great niece.
