He was predeceased by: his wife Julia; his daughter Brenda Buckland; his parents, Albert Stewart and Nellie Stewart; and his sister Anne.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Stewart, Leanne Carson (Craig) and Colleen Christie; his son-in-law Dave Buckland; his grandchildren, Kyle Vokes (Mikaela), Shaelynn (Leandro), Madison (Eric), Connor Carson (Angelina), Alyssa, Riley Stewart (Jirah) and Emma Christie; and his son Craig (Julia). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
