He was predeceased by: his mother Helga. He is survived by: his father Don; his siblings, Sonja Ames (William Hall) and Michael (Deb); his nieces and nephews, Alexandra Claggett, Callie Ames (Devon Kwasny), Brandon Ames and Carson Ames (Sawyer Stewart); and his great-nephews, Easton and Rhett Ames. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kingsway Legion (Royal Canadian Legion Br. 175) (14339 50 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5A0S9).
