We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, Claudette Delores Bentz (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Gertrude; and her sisters, Fern and Barbara. She is survived by: her son Alex; and her siblings, Trevor (Lynn), Allan (Marg), Dallas (Karen), Sharon, Wesley, Anthony (Kathy), Rhonda (Don), Lisa (Doug), Korine (Vince), Cheryl, Darryl and Jamie.

In memory of Claudette, donations can be made to Covenant House Vancouver or to Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS) in Edmonton. Donations can also be made to a charity of one's choice.

“To all the Bentz's, Claudette's passing has brought back many memory's of not only her but of the good times I had with your loving Family. I remember the one summer I was there basically playing with Wesley, Anthony and a bit with Sharon. I was probably 10 or 11 at the time plus it was my first time away from home. What I remember is not what we got into but how Claudette ( her being so old) became my go to as a confidant/comforter when I got homesick. Thank You Claudette. Dennis Audette”
