He is survived by: his children, Henri (Dianna), Gilbert (Wendy), Ida (Ed), Leo (Wendy), Roland (Charlene), Edouard (Jan) and Anne. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
