He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Jimmy and Alfred Sr.; his grandparents, Christina, John Jimmy, Jane Paddy and Antione Chickeness; his brother Alfred Jr.; his grandson Addison Chickeness; his cousin Kelly Chickeness; and his close friends, Fernard Checkosis and Elaine Semaganis.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gadwa; his children, April, Jeanine, Clara and Owen; his stepchildren, Calida and Mervin Jr.; his grandchildren, Landon, Remi, Kaylai, Evony, Zayden, Patrick Jr. and Sherell; his stepgrandchildren, Neveah, Kainin, Rory Jr., Kayora and Oaklynn; and his siblings, Ruby, Deborah, Lana (Dale), Colette (Leslie) and Jerry. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
