He was predeceased by: his brother Derek Evans; and his grandfather Derek Day. He is survived by: his daughters, Brook-Lyn and Taylor; his parents, Lyle and Denise; his siblings, Barb Zager (Chris), Heather Adams (Russ), Tanis Smith and Dylan Smith; and his grandmother Florence Day. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
