She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gemmell (John) and Frances MacQueen (Iona); her siblings, Jack (Sharron), Joyce (Tom) and Ron; her son Jay Trumen; and her siblings-in-law, Roland Lavallee, Tom Mohr, Sharon Ferguson and Claire Mathieu.

She is survived by: her siblings, Elaine (Roland), Gordon (Wanda), Gerrie (Lorraine) and Roger (Val); her daughter Ashley; and her grandchildren, Taeyln and Mikaela. She is also survived by great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
