She is survived by: her husband Dwight; her children, Brian, Christine and Lori; her grandchildren, Kilee, Benson and Acacia; her mother Nat Payne; and her sisters, Beverly, Deborah, Darlene and Bernadette. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

“Dear Dwight, Brian, Christine and Nat, we cannot believe this news and are don't know how to express our feelings. We were in Edm from June 9 till 23 visiting Mark and Joy family - however we couldn't visit friends or do shopping (Joy's sister was staying with while visiting her husband in ICU of UofA hospital - liver transplant recovery). We regret we could not stop for "coffee and a chat" - it is so sad we can't say "we do it next time". Be strong, sincere condolence, Paul and Eva Knettig”
