Brenda Hennig Obituary
In loving memory of Brenda Hennig (Edmonton, Alberta), who departed this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 63. Brenda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Brenda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Brenda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ethel Hennig and George Hennig; her husband Dwayne Dorland; her sister Barbara Darrah (Dale); her nieces, Hilary (Geoff Rempel) and Jenn Pashulka (Justin); and her nephew Jeff Darrah (Sis).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (8405 83 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6C2Z2).
Most recently Brenda was an Arts Development consultant handling literary and film and video projects with the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
