He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Bok and Roelfien Bok; and his sister Jantje. He is survived by: his wife Ria; his children, Michael (Debbie) and Jeanette (Richard); his grandchildren, Daniel (Christina), Jordan (Drew), Joshua (Dayna), Kayla (Krys) and Brittney (Daryn); his great grandchild Marlow; and his siblings, John (Kathleen), Betty, Ralph (Ruby), Jim, Rulie, Rita, Fennie (Robert) and Nick (Shelley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in memory of Bert may be made to the Emmanuel Home, Edmonton.
