Bernice Widney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2024, Bernice Widney (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Bernice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bernice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Widney. She is survived by: her siblings, Frank, Ray, Stan, Elsie and Shirley; and her children, Tom, Susan and Nancy.

Together she and Dan were instrumental in donating to the University Hospital Foundation for the Intra-Operative 3T MRI unit, one of their proudest moments.
