She was predeceased by: her former husband Gerhardt "Dick" Wedman; her daughter-in-law Pauline Wedman; and her stepson Jim Hillis. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Hillis; her children, Jim Wedman, Denise Elliott (Wayne) and Sharon Rushton (Bernie); and her stepsons, Ron Hillis (Flo) and Bill Hillis. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
