He was predeceased by: his sons, Sean and Todd; and his siblings, Jim and Patricia. He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Lori), Ryan (Colleen), Shane (Loribeth) and Paula (Jim); his stepchildren, Isabel (Richard), Siobhan (Ken), Pat and James (Loretta); and his siblings, Eileen, Joe, Kathy and Moira. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
