He was predeceased by: his father Jose Carreon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose; his sons, John Paul (Raquel) and Jefferson (Clarisse); his grandchildren, Avianna, Jazen, Avery, Eliza, Jahnella and Chloe; his mother Consuelo Carreon; and his siblings, Teresita, Daisy, Eduardo and Restituto.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
