He was predeceased by: his parents, José Carrola and Patrocinia Marques. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Joe Carrola (Jan), Sãozita Viegas (João), Carmo DeGrasse (Paul) and Vital Carrola (Corrie); his grandchildren, Sandy Lombardo (Roma), Matthew Carrola (Daytona), Cassandra Chiodo (Benito), Angel Hennig (Anthony), Braedon DeGrasse (Skye), Nicholas Viegas, Isabella and Eden Carrola; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Luca Lombardo, Alita and Alesso Chiodo.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
