She was predeceased by: her parents, John Puchalik and Julia Puchalik; her brother Peter Puchalik; and her husband Ted. She is survived by: her children, Richard Sawka (Susan) of Calgary, Dr. Carol Sawka (Juan Bilbao) of Toronto, ON and Dr. Barry Sawka (Mary) of Owen Sound, ON; her grandchildren, Paul Sawka, Amy Sawka, David Sawka and Dr. Laura Sawka (Connor Hendricks); and her sister Kay Sawka of Calgary.
