Ann Colville Obituary

Ann Colville, age 94 years of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital Friday, February 3, 2023.

Ann was born in Invermay, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1928. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Frances Mula (nee Shinchewski). Ann was raised on a farm near Invermay and received her education in a country school. After school she worked in the Margo area where she met and married her husband, Charles after his return from the war. They were married June 12, 1947 in Invermay, Saskatchewan and in the same year they moved to Flin Flon, Manitoba. Ann was a homemaker first and worked at the Flin Flon General Hospital as an aid in pediatrics. They retired to Dauphin, Manitoba in 1987 and remained there until Charles passed. Ann then moved to Edmonton in May of 2006.

She will lovingly be remembered by her son Robert and his wife Brenda of Edmonton, Alberta. Two grandchildren; Laura Colville and Bradley Colville, his wife, Josephine Colville, their daughter, Ann's only great grandchild, Sarabelle. Ann has one remaining brother, Rudy Mula of Lantz, Nova Scotia. There are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Ann was predeceased by her parents, one brother; William Mula, six sisters; Mary Olyniuk, Pauline Lunsted, Stella Anderson, Emily Klippenstein, Jeannie Connolly and Antonia Mula in infancy.

Many thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses, aides and cleaning staff of the Grey Nuns Hospital for their concerted effort and dedication to their professions in keeping Ann comfortable.
