She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Wasyl Melnyk and Stella Melnyk; and her siblings, Ruby, Dorothy, Ted, Tom, Fred, Alex, Mike, Henry, Annie and Nick.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda, Tayssa (Isaac), Cassandra (Cam), Barbara, Nix (Alex) and Juhl; her sisters, Doris, Olga and Nancy (Fred); and her sisters-in-law, Laurie (Terry), Rose and Wiesia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
