With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maryann Patricia Fankhanel of Eckville, Alberta, born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Maryann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whitmore and Jessie Whitmore; and her husband Carmen. She is survived by: her children, Dallas Fankhanel (Rochelle) of Red Deer and Rita Casper (Cody) of Eckville; her grandchildren, Savanna, Tina, Devon, Asia and Zach; her great grandchildren, Brexton and Serenity; and her sister May Small (George) of Brooks. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
