He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jennie Averill, James and Margaret Houston; his cousins, Shayne Biy, Scott Houston, Rhett DeLeeuw and Greta Marofke; and his stepson Francis.

He is survived by: his parents, Ivan Houston and Trudy Houston; his wife Raquel Gamboa; his brother Tyler; his sister-in-law Juli Houston; his sister Pam; and his brother-in-law Byron Burchnall. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to Rimbey Hospital Legacy Committee.
