He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cowan (Jack) and Ruby Cowan (Burroughs); and his sister Hazel Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Connie (Bonnallie); his sibling Bette Huffman of Stoney Creek; his siblings-in-law, Martin Bonnallie (JoAnn) of Sherbrooke, Quebec Bonnallie and Roma Bonnallie of Brantford; his children, Wendy Vaudry (John) of Pembroke Ontario and Roy Cowan (Sandra) of Duffield; his grandchildren, Paul Vaudry, Phil Vaudry of Waterloo, Mary Veldman (Al) of St-Jean, John Cowan of Winnipeg, Joe Cowan and Jordan Cowan of Duffield; and his great grandchildren, John Veldman and Naomi Veldman.

Memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
