With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Charles Gratrix (Duchess, Alberta), born in Brooks, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Jenny; and his brother Gil. He is survived by: his brother Gary (Edith) of Calgary; his nephew Adam of Surrey, B. C.; his niece Jessica Norbury (Nick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aydan, Trentyn, Teague and Cohen of Mission, B. C.; his niece Kim Desnoyers (Mike); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie and Kiara of Okotoks, AB.; his aunt June Langstone; his uncle Peter Belchamber; his cousins, Judy Vezina (Larry) of Osoyoos, B. C. and John Boscott (Charlene) of Clinton, B. C.; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Rosalie.
