Shirley Ann Vanak Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Vanak of Duchess, Alberta, born in Brooks, Alberta, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hildebrand and Anne Hildebrand; her husband Mike Vanak; her sister Marguerite; her daughter-in-law Sharlene Vanak; and her grandson Jason Vanak.

She is survived by: her brother Roger of Regina; her children, Wendy (Ron), Terry (Trudy), Lori (Stewart) and Michael (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Jeremy (Crystal), Josh (Chantal), Ryan (Samantha), Erin, Riley, Kendal (Mitchell Payne), Caitlin, Chandra and Courtney. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Salvation Army.
