He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Peake and Claudia Peake; his wife Maxine Hale; his children, Carolyn (Brian) and Jeff; his uncle Tom Peake; his grandsons, Jaret, Brody and Gavin; his brothers, Hughie Peake (Winnie), Edward Peake (Diane) and Jim Peake (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, June Miller, Bobby Hale, Tannis Rohrich (John), Bruce Miller, Wayne Hale and Linda Hale. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will be sharing a Private Family Service in Bassano on Friday, May 21st, 2021.
