He was predeceased by: his brothers, Sonny and Jack; and his son-in-law Dale. He is survived by: his wife Joanie; his children, Cameron (Katie), Sherry, Misty and Jolene; his grandchildren, Darcy, Celena, Jimmy, Jessie, Tyler and Clay; and his brother Irwin (Anne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
