He was predeceased by: his son Bruce; his son-in-law Murray; his parents, Andreas (Inge Andreasen) and Frances (Frank Rombs); his brothers, Erik and Karlo; his siblings-in-law, Jeanette, Bill, Joe, Henry, Martin and Rose; and his nieces and nephews, Riley, Kelly, Andy, Patricia, Henrietta and Shelley.

He is survived by: his wife Theresia; his daughter Karen (Dennis); his grandchildren, Lexie and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Lawson and Suri.
