She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Peterson (Larry); her parents, John and Cecilia; her siblings, Arlo, Audrey, Carl Peterson, Joyce Peterson, Stan Schwartzenberger, Clara Schwartzenberger and Pauline Peterson; her nephew Reg; and her niece Lorraine.

She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Senecal (Jean-Louis) and Shelly Hansen (David); her grandchildren, Gabriel, Jude, Beck and Elliah Hilton; her brother Harlan Guenther (Joy); and her brother-in-law Paul Peterson.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation (Community Cancer Clinic).
