She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Edith Carter; her husband Henry; her brother Billy; and her stepsiblings, Ruth Greer and Tom McColm.
She is survived by: her children, Arla (Dan Gartner), Alvin Gall (Shirley), Greg Gall (Pat) and Margaret Sonnenberg (Cameron); and her grandchildren, Joshua Schmaltz, Katherine Schmaltz, Gary Gall, Derek Gall, Anna Ropp (Steve), John Gall (Andrea), Pete Gall (Mel), Beth Sonnenberg (Stephane DesJardine) and Christan Sonnenberg (Sean Callahan). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
