He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia (Winslow); and his parents, Fred and Florence. He is survived by: his children, Marty (Cheryl) of Drumheller and Jill Verstrepen (Kevin) of Airdrie; his grandchildren, Shelby Elkes (Brandon), Brinley Elkes, Ashley Rowland (Matt), Stacie Pettis (Evan) and Corey Verstrepen; and his siblings, Vera Dick, Edna Anderson and Fred.
