It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Koopmans (Drumheller, Alberta), born in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dirk Koopmans; and his daughter Carrie-Lynn. He is survived by: his mother Maaike Koopmans; his wife Darlene Pearce; his children, Joanna (Tim), Amanda and Kenny; his granddaughters, Chloe and Annabelle; his parents-in-law, Ken and Georgina; his siblings, Alice (Peter), Stephen (Gwen), Barb (Bob), Greg (Jennifer) and Sylvia (James); and his sister-in-law Sharon (Mark). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Due to Covid, there will not be any formal funeral services.
