She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Uttley and Blanche Grice; her husband Bill Kowalchuk; her son-in-law Brian; her grandchildren, Brent, Katherine, Christopher and Morgan; and her siblings, Wilma Spargo and Vernon Uttley.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Gwynn, Bill (Becky Kowalchuk), Marilyn (Harold Kenzler), Kathy MacDermid (Gordan Friedley) and John (Paula Kowalchuk); her grandchildren, Heather, Erin (Ron), Lindsey (Travis), Travis, Jared (Emma), Ryan (Leah) and Daniel (Julia); her great grandchildren, Archer, Beau, Hayden, Alina, Bronson, Carson, Devin, Claire, Jack, Owen, Adelyn and Henry; and her sister Geneva Balcom of Stettler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
