He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Campbell and Ada Campbell; and his brothers, Jim, Jack and Richard.

He is survived by: his children, Stuart (Mona), Heather (David) and Laurie (Robert); his grandchildren, Matthew, Jenna, Ian, Michael, Jamie, Clayton and Jade; and his wife Anne Bellak of Midland.
