He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Christensen and Elizabeth Christensen; and his siblings, Joe Christensen, Mary Gundersen, Fran Dixon and Dorothy Whittaker. He is also survived by his family and friends.

The collection has been donated to the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton.
