He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hnetka and Nora Hnetka; his brothers, Bill, Tony and Les; his sister-in-law Louise Steward; and also Stephanie Dubick.
He is survived by: his wife Fay; his daughters, Lana, Rena (Les) and Becky (David); and his grandchildren, Kiara, Deklan, Klay, Kaleb and Karter. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
