He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Engler and Mabel Engler; his sisters, Betty Campbell and Fay MacKay; his son-in-law Terrance Godun; his siblings-in-law, Steve Stirr, Court Campbell, Austin MacKay, Bob Knowles, Betty Engler, Shelia Nolin and Geraldine Knowles; his niece Cheryl Laing; and his nephew Scott Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Engler, Donna Godun and Gary Engler (Sara); his grandchildren, Laura, Ryan and Megan; his siblings, Max Engler, Maxine Ansell and Peggy Stirr; and his brother-in-law Don Nolin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
