He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Sisley and Mary Sisley; his in-laws, Charlie and Shirley Thompson; his brother-in-law Jim Hemsing; his nephews, Kevin Wilson and Terry Thompson; and his niece Angie Hemsing.

He is survived by: his wife Carol (Thompson); his children, Kenn Sisley (Deb), Yvonne Sisley, Steven Bate (Kristie) and Christa Giles (DJ); his grandchildren, Jenner Giles (Angie), Lewis Giles, Connor Bate (Mekya), Caroljean Bate, Tyler Doble and Jaxon Sisley; his sisters, Ellen and Margaret; his nephew Jim (Janis); and his niece Nadine (Alex).
