He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bergos and Florence Bergos; his wife Dorothy Porter of Drumheller; and his grandson Corbett Schaffer. He is survived by: his former wife Florence Scaiff of Liverpool; his children, Peter Jr., Marie, Donald, Jeanne, Alexander, Margaret, Barbara, Sharon and Grant; his grandchildren, Maria, Kia, Grant and Trevor; and his great grandchild Theo.
