With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Eugene Demers (Drayton Valley, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 67. He is survived by: his children, Alan Demers (Naomi), Michelle Demers (Daniel Fell) and Kristine Kiefer; his grandchildren, Autumn Brandt (Tyler), Desirae Kiefer (Josh), Rylee Lunde (Devon), Brooklyn Kiefer (Trenton), Trinity Fell, Max Demers, Ellie Demers and Myah Demers; his great grandchild Ashton; his sisters, Claudette Clendennin, Suzanne Jones and Darlene Urbanovich (Glen); his brothers-in-law, Pat Doherty and Russell Clendennin; his aunt Laurette Marchand (Albert); his parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Doherty; his brothers-in-law, Cameron, Tom Doherty and Kevin Jones; and his son-in-law Trevor Kiefer.

In lieu of flowers, Lawrence has asked that donations to be sent to Friends of Whitecourt.
