He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hart and Marion Hart; his parents-in-law, Paul and Audrey Rainer; and his nephews, Kurtis and Chad Hart.

He is survived by: his wife Kelly Hart (Rainer); his children, Jesse Hart (Niki Prince) of Drayton Valley, Clayton Hart of Drayton Valley and Kristi Gusek (Darryl); his grandchildren, Ethan, Carson, Julian and Emi Gusek of Hinton, Alberta; his siblings, Diana McDonald of Stony Plain, AB, Gerald Hart (Bev) of Kitscoty, AB and Gordon Hart (Bonnie); and his brother-in-law Glen Rainer (Robin Marples) of Buck Lake, AB..
