Alejandro Kisis-Garay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alejandro Kisis-Garay of Drayton Valley, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alejandro had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Alejandro may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his son Max Schwengler-Kisis; his parents, Kurts Kisis and Edurne Garay; his siblings, Emma Kellgren (Chad), Lilija Kisis and Jesus Kisis (Alexandra); his half-sister Inesis Kisis; and his stepsisters, Naji Teixeira (Matteo) and Igni Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alder Flats Community Hall (108 2 Ave N, Alder Flats, AB T0C0A0).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to the HART Fund through Drayton Valley Community Foundation by visiting dvcf.org, reflecting Alejandro's caring nature and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
