With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Joseph Hodgson of Dorothy, Alberta, born in Drumheller, Alberta, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Hodgson and Blanche Hodgson; his brother Gordon Hodgson; his nephews, Murray and Larry Hodgson; and his niece Joanne Hodgson.

He is survived by: his daughter Chyanne Maurer (Wade); his grandchildren, Cade and Taya; and his siblings, Ethel Davies and Donald Hodgson (Dixie).

If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
