He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver and Hildia; his siblings, Patsy, Alex, Clarence, Harry and Fay; and his daughter-in-law Maureen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anne Paice; his children, Deb (Mark), Dianne (Dennis), Doug and Deneen (Scott); his grandchildren, Dustin, Bret (Franca), Ana Maria, Robyn, Jenna, Samantha and Allyson; his great grandchildren, Daniella and Juliet; and his sisters, Joan (Don) and Olive.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Don can be made to The University of Alberta – The Firefighters' Burn Treatment Society.
