With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Klaus of Didsbury, Alberta, born in Vulcan, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on July 25, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Eleanor departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eleanor leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gus Klaus; and her parents, Jacob Fritzler and Pauline Fritzler. She is survived by: her children, Karen Hitchings (Darrell) of Edmonton and Kevin of Didsbury; her granddaughters, Diane and Hailey; and her siblings, Emil (Eileen), Lorraine, Marvin (Marlene) and Donna (Lorenz). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
An outdoor memorial tribute service will be held at Westerdale Cemetery, Olds, Ab on Tuesday, July 30 at 11am, with a light luncheon to follow at Westerdale Community Hall.
